Welcome to the online farm stand where you can find all of our farm raised products in one convenient location!

Kits and yarn can be purchased this winter season at the Newburgh Winter Market.

yarn + roving

Every Fall our neighbor (and local 4-H dad!) comes to the farm to shear our flock of Icelandic Sheep. When the day is done, the girls and I carefully gather and separate all of the fleeces and then spend the next few weeks painstakingly skirting each one, hand picking out every bit of evidence from the sheeps’ summer forays into the woods. Once the hard work is done, we get to be creative - combining and blending our favorite fleeces and colors to produce that years’ yarn collection. Then off they go to a small fiber mill in Maine specialized in working with the unique qualities of Icelandic fleeces. It’s there that the magic happens - spinning each combination we dreamed up in the Fall into beautiful skeins of naturally colored yarn and roving that will eventually end up on your knitting (or crochet!) needles. Every skein of yarn you purchase from us has been lovingly crafted and touched by so many small farms and fiber artists. We hope you love it as much as we do and can’t wait to see what you create!

Felted Sheep Ornament Kit
$15.00

We’ve put together the cutest felted sheep ornament kits (with roving from our flock of Icelandic sheep) for the holidays. They are perfect as stocking stuffers or to beat the winter break doldrums. Each kit contains black and brown wool felt, gray or white roving, felting needle, string and instructions.

"The Rose Four"
$28.00

This is a very special, naturally colored yarn made from a 50/50 blend of wool from my eldest daughter’s (the “Rose” of Wren and Rose Farm) Tunis and Romeldale/CVM sheep and is suitable for next to skin garments. Yarn spun from Tunis sheep is known for its durability, luster and resistance to felting while yarn spun from Romeldale/CVM sheep is known for its softness and drape. We will not be making this blend again, so if you are interested now is your only chance to snag some!

Approximately 100g/4 ounces. 260 yards.

3-Ply DK

US Size 5-7

Spun by Battenkill Fibers in Upstate NY.

Grown by Belinda & Galinda (Romeldale/CVM); Ramlam & Dainty (Tunis).
